Educational Qualifications & Experience needed

Welder II Job Description:

Summary

Responsible for operating welding tools and mechanisms manually or semi-automatically. Use of manual or semi-automatic techniques for flame-cutting so as to combine metals, fix rusty or broken metal components.

Primary Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Fixes combines and fine-tunes metals and all other weld-able metallic substances by using best welding tools and techniques.
  • Translates blueprints, specs, illustrations or graphs to identify the most suitable welding procedures and codes.
  • Analyzes and investigates done welding projects to acknowledge seamless structural combines and bonds.

Educational Qualifications & Experience needed

  • Should hold a High School Diploma in area of specialization or anything equivalent.
  • May be asked to attend an Apprenticeship Program and/or Formal Training in a specific area.
  • A min. of 2-5 years of experience in the concerned field is a must.
  • Should have sound knowledge of regular welding tools, processes, and approaches within area of specialization.

Responsible for fabricating and combining metal parts and structures with the help of tools and equipments like welders, flame-cutters, shapers and more. Should produce structures as per the customer’s or employer’s specs.

Accountable for repairing and maintaining metal tools and structures of several sizes. Reading and interpreting of blueprints, graphs and more to identify operations, needed tools & materials and time-duration to complete the welding projects.

Primary Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Solders, combines, and connects metal parts and other metallic things by employing suitable welding equipments and knowledge.
  • Deciphers layouts, specifications, graphs and symbolic representations to realize the most fitting welding concepts and apply them.
  • Audits and checks finished work to ensure sound structure devoid of any flaws.

Educational Qualifications & Experience needed:

  • A High School Diploma or Course equivalent in the field
  • Should complete an Apprenticeship Course and/or Formal Training Program in the area of specialization.
  • A min. of 4 years experience in welding or area of specialization
  • Has relevant knowledge and experience in the welding methods, practices, and patterns.
  • Highly banks on experience, knowledge and practical awareness to outline and establish goals.
  • Will be responsible for carrying out multiple tasks other than welding and soldering.

Will be required to take a lead and guide others to perform tasks correctly.
